Matilda Markne is our new project developer. Matilda is a Rural Developer with many years of experience in handling project support in the Rural Development Programme. She was a project manager for two projects at the County Administrative Board, and a project employee at the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Development. Degree in rural development from SLU and social science from Uppsala University. Matilda has been scouting for Leader for some time because she believes that the working method suits her.
– I like having a coaching and development-driven approach to the projects, being able to provide relevant support so that the projects become stronger/have more impact, says Matilda.
At the county administrative board, Matilda was the driving force behind organizing a ”search workshop” where project owners could come and brainstorm ideas and ask questions. For Leader Sörmland Coast, Matilda will be an important addition when it comes to coaching and processing more project ideas, which is our ambition. If we are to achieve our goals with the strategy, we need to reach out to more actors who can contribute important efforts to the development of the countryside.
