Nature tourism entrepreneurs collaborate for new services in nature, fishing, and outdoor life.
About the project
Through this project, Håcknesta farm in Nyköping municipality has developed its operations in nature tourism. With the help of support from Leader, they have built a dock to accommodate boats and fish from, and developed the camping operations through a new grill area and an outdoor toilet. More entrepreneurs can use the new facilities, which strengthens the conditions for tourism businesses in the local area. This makes it easier to market the area together and to create and implement package solutions with other entrepreneurs. In this way, they become more attractive in the market.
In the project, Håcknesta farm collaborates with other nature tourism entrepreneurs in fishing tourism, catering, nature experiences, and guiding.
The project was ongoing in 2021.

Why was the project prioritized?
LAG's decision on prioritization with justification:
The project contributes to developing food and experience tourism with new products and services. Outdoor facilities are timely, especially with
the current global situation (covid-19 pandemic). Håcknesta Outdoor center can be utilized by many different groups in society as it
has a broad approach to various collaborations between both entrepreneurs and schools, which can create more internship opportunities.
Fishing tourism is a great potential for Södermanland, which can contribute to more jobs and increased profitability for businesses. Our lakes need to become more accessible and marketed.
