Stable Bergtorp

The non-profit association Tälje Skog och Ungdom operates Stall Bergtorp outside Södertälje. The association runs children's and youth activities on weekday evenings and has an open farm and ”try-riding” on Saturdays. In this preliminary study, they have delved into how they can develop new leisure activities and broaden the offerings to become a meeting place for the public.

Within the preliminary study, the association has conducted two study trips, held four workshops, and brought in an investigator who analyzed the operations and compiled the results in a report. The report presents a current situation and two development visions for Bergtorp, and the association wants to work with scenario C: to develop the operations in several areas and work more actively with internships, school visits, mental health, and develop the riding activities. At the same time, the association needs to make investments in existing buildings as well as a new riding hall and stable.

The preliminary study was the basis for the association to work with current situation and needs analysis, and we from Leader hope the operations develop in the desired way.
