Lagnö Energy Community – a feasibility study for sustainable energy in collaboration
Lagnö Bo KHF is conducting a feasibility study with support from Leader Sörmlandskusten to investigate how a local energy community can be created on the Tureholm Peninsula in Trosa Municipality. The purpose is to map the technical, legal, and economic conditions for producing and sharing renewable energy locally – for the benefit of both the environment and the economy.
The project conducts workshops, study visits, and gathers lessons that will also benefit other areas. The goal is to develop a model for energy communities that can be used by more.

The feasibility study has a clear purpose, realistic goals, and the potential to lead to an implementation project with great benefits for both the local community and the region.

Purpose and goals
The purpose is to investigate the possibilities of establishing a local energy community in Lagnö and to develop a model for how it can be implemented.
The goal is to conduct a technical, legal, and economic mapping, hold at least three knowledge sessions and three study visits, develop a simple model for an energy community, and compile a final report and a starter package for other areas.
The project's activities include mapping of technical, economic, and legal conditions for an energy community, conducting workshops and knowledge sessions, study visits, development of a model, and preparation of dissemination materials.
