Cultural Heritage Center Hölö-Mörkö
The Hembygdsföreningen Hölö Mörkö strengthens the cultural heritage together with Mörkö Bygdegårdsförening
About the project
Now the Hembygdsföreningen Hölö-Mörkö in Södertälje municipality will develop a cultural heritage center. This will be done by building three new buildings for exhibitions, workshops, and courses. The association will hold an open house day to create engagement around the destination and develop a program offering.
The project is prioritized as it is assessed to contribute to creating a vibrant meeting place for cultural heritage, community life, and tourism on Mörkö. The initiative is based on local collaboration between two established associations: the local heritage association and Mörkö bygdegårdsförening. The project creates new opportunities for cultural experiences and participation for both residents and visitors.
In connection with the final report, the project will show a plan for how the operations will be run two to three years after the project, with examples of events, target groups, collaborations, responsibility distribution, and financial calculations.
The project runs: 2025-2027.
