About the project
Den 30 juli till 2 augusti 2025 bjöds det på gratis blueskonserter på Krogbacken i Gamla Oxelösund.
Föreningen Kultur på Krogbacken har genomfört ett projekt för att sprida blues-musikens blå toner i Oxelösund och Sörmland. I samarbete med Oxelö Krog har de bjudit in till gratis konserter i fyra dagar.
Dagkonserterna med ”Pete Simson Blues” var en fristående del av ”Bluesdagar” som bjöd på flera konserter med blues dag som kväll!
Leader Sörmlandskusten finansierar projektet bland annat för att det på ett bra sätt arbetar med att stärka platsen genom kultur, och att testa nya koncept för att locka en ny publik.

Föreningen har stärkt vår verksamhet genom projektet. Vårt kulturutbud har breddats och vi har samarbetat med nya jazz-föreningar.

Culture as a tool for rural development
In 2025, Leader Sörmland Coast is making a special effort on projects with cultural and creative actors. We are financing 11 projects that, with small funds (max. 40,000 SEK incl. VAT), will make contributions within the culture or creative sector. The projects are always in collaboration with at least one actor.
With the 11 sub-projects, Leader Sörmland Coast wants to promote culture as a tool for the development of towns and rural areas in our area.
The purpose of the project is to promote culture, creativity and place development in rural areas within the framework of the Leader method.
The goal of the project is to grant 10 projects with a focus on location development for creative and cultural industries.
The project is partly funded by the EU.
