🌿 Rural Parliament 2024 – An unforgettable weekend in Nyköping! 🌿
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this year's Rural Parliament a huge success! We are so proud to have gathered 700 participants who participated in four days of 35 seminars, explored 18 inspiring trips and experienced what Nyköping and Sörmland have to offer.
Here are some highlights from the event:
📈 Numbers that speak for themselves:
- 87% higher hotel occupancy than a typical weekend in May
- 1,460,626 kr spent on hotel nights
- 7000 servings of locally produced food was served, created by 15 chefs from Sörmland
🍽 The food – a taste experience like no other: We focused on sustainability and locally produced ingredients with over 150 suppliers from the region. It wasn't just food – it was a culinary journey with the best Sörmland has to offer!
🚶♂️ Inspirational trips: 500 participants had the chance to visit 110 different destinations throughout Sörmland, and experience everything from small-scale energy solutions to culture and nature.
🏆 High marks for Nyköping: We received fantastic feedback from the participants – 4.35 out of 5 for content and implementation. Thanks to Nyköping Municipality for their outstanding hosting!
