About the project
IK Tun develops Råsbäcken
IK Tun is investing in developing Råsbäcken into an even better place for sports, movement, and community. Through the project Changing room Råsbäcken three barracks will be renovated into new changing rooms with showers, toilets, and simpler service areas.
The investment creates better conditions for children and youth, seniors, schools, and local associations to use the area for training, activities, and events. The project also includes land preparation and installation of electricity, water, and HVAC as well as adaptation of surrounding areas for outdoor activities and gatherings.
The goal is for Råsbäcken to become an even more accessible and functional meeting place for the entire community – with space for more activities and more people.

LAG's decision justification
The board assesses that the project contributes to strengthening access to sports and activity opportunities in rural areas by developing Råsbäcken into a more functional and accessible meeting place for several target groups. Investment in changing rooms and service functions creates conditions for more activities, training, and events to be carried out as well as collaboration with schools, associations, and other local actors.
The project is assessed to meet an identified need in the area where access to suitable facilities is limited while the demand for activities for children, youth, and other groups is increasing. Through the project, the capacity to accommodate more participants and develop Råsbäcken as a local meeting place is improved.

The purpose of the project is to develop accessibility to sports and activity opportunities for children, youth, seniors, schools, and local associations by strengthening Råsbäcken as a functioning and accessible activity and meeting place.
The goal of the project is to complete three barracks into fully functioning changing rooms with showers, toilets, and service functions as well as to adapt surrounding areas for outdoor activities and gatherings at Råsbäcken.
The activities in the project include land preparation, installation and connection of electricity, water, and sewage, construction and renovation work of the barracks, as well as assembly of furnishings and equipment for changing rooms and service areas.
