About the project
The Good Conversation project wants to create space for conversation between people and transcend preconceived notions we have about each other. A place for conversation where openness, curiosity and a desire for understanding are the common values.
On two Saturdays (November 29 and December 27), the public is therefore invited to a conversation lounge at Kafé Åsgatan in Järna. Limited number of places!
The idea of the conversation lounges was spun out of a longing to have conversations, to be able to meet across corridors of opinion to strengthen democracy.
The Good Conversation is a collaboration between Ruby Rose, Kafé Åsgatan and Yellow Tiger. The project was carried out in 2025.

ABOUT THE CONVERSATION SALONS
An expanded cultural offering in rural areas strengthens the cultural power of the place.
One of eleven projects within "Creative Rural Areas"”
In 2025, Leader Sörmland Coast is making a special effort on projects with cultural and creative actors. We are financing 11 projects that, with small funds (max. 40,000 SEK incl. VAT), will make contributions within the culture or creative sector. The projects are always in collaboration with at least one actor.
With the 11 sub-projects, Leader Sörmland Coast wants to promote culture as a tool for the development of towns and rural areas in our area.
The purpose of the project is to promote culture, creativity and place development in rural areas within the framework of the Leader method.
The goal of the project is to grant 10 projects with a focus on location development for creative and cultural industries.
The project is partly funded by the EU.
