Feed store Uppinge

Uppinge Gård AB currently operates a feed store in Grödinge, Botkyrka municipality, with an established customer group and open one day a week. Now they want to invest in becoming more accessible by extending opening hours and working to develop the store into a meeting place for animal owners and producers, with space for advice, knowledge exchange, and local collaborations.

In the project, Uppinge Gård will renovate and make the store accessible. An unmanned store solution with a digital checkout enables them to be open more days a week and for longer hours. The store will also be developed as a meeting place for animal owners and producers, with space for advice, knowledge exchange, and local collaborations.

Through the investment, a long-term sustainable service point is created that strengthens local entrepreneurship and contributes to increased attractiveness for the Grödinge region.

In the project, Uppinge Gård collaborates with, among others, Torp farm.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

”A local feed store with generous opening hours facilitates everyday life, creates more sustainability through shorter trips, and strengthens the animal industry in the area.

There is also a need for a place where animal owners can get advice, exchange experiences, and find a more tailored offering than what larger chains provide.”
