The October Exhibition
Two days of art, crafts, music, theater, food, people, and meetings at Hölö Kyrkskola
About the project
On October 5 and 6, everyone is welcome to the ”October Exhibition” at Hölö Kyrkskola, Södertälje municipality. It will be a day filled with art, culture, music, theater. Pomologists, growers, local food. A horse and maybe even a goat?
Tina Kreitz (ef) wants to develop Kyrkskola into a cultural center and gather creators and artists for an inspiring weekend. The hope is to create ripples in the water and lead to more cultural activities and more collaboration in the area.
Leader Sörmlandskusten finances the project, among other things, because it strengthens the place through culture, and by collaborating with other associations to attract new visitors.

ABOUT THE OCTOBER EXHIBITION
We want to showcase the potential of Kyrkskola as a meeting point for culture and crafts.
The event combines art exhibition, digital installations, crafts, music, happenings, dialogues, and stage performances. It could be a unique cultural event in Södermanland!
One of eleven projects within "Creative Rural Areas"”
Culture as a tool for rural development
In 2025, Leader Sörmland Coast is making a special effort on projects with cultural and creative actors. We are financing 11 projects that, with small funds (max. 40,000 SEK incl. VAT), will make contributions within the culture or creative sector. The projects are always in collaboration with at least one actor.
With the 11 sub-projects, Leader Sörmland Coast wants to promote culture as a tool for the development of towns and rural areas in our area.
The purpose of the project is to promote culture, creativity and place development in rural areas within the framework of the Leader method.
The goal of the project is to grant 10 projects with a focus on location development for creative and cultural industries.
The project is partly funded by the EU.
