The farm as a meeting place

The project ”The Farm as a Meeting Place” has carried out a series of activities that have contributed to both the physical and operational development of Charlottendals Gård in Järna. The project focused on creating a meeting place through the construction of a log house to support activities such as EVS (European Voluntary Service), courses, and other education.

Main results:

1. Construction and interior design: A log house was constructed and ongoing interior design has taken place to create meeting places and accommodation.
2. Operational development: The farm has become a new meeting point, especially for EVS and conference and tourism activities.
3. Collaboration and partnerships: The project has collaborated with local actors, associations, and volunteers. Among other things, collaborations have been developed with ”Under Tallarna,” the Sofia association, and Cykelkultur.
4. New activities: The project created new services through EVS coordination and built a physical facility for meetings and activities.
5. Long-term sustainability: The farm will continue to be a cultural meeting place and serve as a location for education and courses.

In summary, the project has contributed to developing a new cultural and social meeting place at the farm that benefits both the local community and visitors.
